Sales growth leads to the opening of a state of the art remanufacturing center in West Fargo, ND. By this time Gremada is refurbishing parts for over 90% of the Caterpillar dealers in the US.

Greg Butler takes over as CEO of Gremada Industries Inc.

Caterpillar and Gremada begin negotiations to remanufacture final drive hubs.

Gremada begins to remanufacture Caterpillar final drive groups.

Gremada begins to remanufacture Caterpillar brake bands and shoes.

Gremada begins to remanufacture Caterpillar torque converters and transmissions.

Facilities are further expanded to provide manufacturing and warehouse space totaling 88,000 square feet in West Fargo and 92,000 square feet in Fargo.

Gremada receives the Triumph award for excellence in the field of remanufacturing.

Gremada becomes one of the first companies in North America to utilize laser technology in the remanufacturing process, adding services such as laser heat treating and laser cladding.

Gremada goes live with the SAP software application.

Gremada opens Laser Cladding Services in Houston, Texas to provide protective coatings that increase product lifespan for customers primarily in the oil and gas industry.

After again expanding beyond its facilities, Gremada adds a 36,000 square foot addition to West Fargo and leases a 20,000 square foot facility in Harwood, North Dakota.

Gremada sells most of its North Dakota assets to Caterpillar. Laser Cladding Services is purposefully excluded from this transaction.
