Benefits Summary for Full Time Employees

Gremada Industries is pleased to offer the following benefit package to all salaried and hourly employees that work an average of 34 or more hours per week. Further details can be obtained from the Human Resources department, the Employee Handbook, or actual plan documents.

Healthcare Coverage – Eligible employees may enroll in healthcare insurance, including prescription drug benefits, through Noridian Benefit Plan Administrators beginning the first of the month following 3 months of continuous service. The plan utilizes a preferred provider network with approximately 80% of premiums subsidized by the company.

Dental and Vision Insurance – Eligible employees may enroll in group dental insurance through Dental Service Corporation and/or group vision insurance through Avesis beginning the first of the month following 3 months of continuous service. Premiums are 100% paid by the employee. The plans utilize a preferred provider network.

Life Insurance – Eligible employees receive company-sponsored life insurance as well as the opportunity to purchase additional insurance beginning the first of the month following 3 months of continuous service. Company sponsored coverage varies; contact Human Resources to determine your coverage level. Additional voluntary life insurance may be purchased for you, your spouse, and/or your dependent children.
Cancer and Accident Insurance – Employees are able to purchase voluntary cancer and accident insurance beginning the first of the month following 3 months of continuous service.

Short-Term Disability – Gremada provides short-term disability benefits at no cost to eligible employees after completing one year of continuous service. Short-term disability provides income at half of your regular wage for up to 13 weeks within a rolling 12-month period should you become unable to work due to a non-work-related disability.

Long-Term Disability – Employees may purchase voluntary long-term disability insurance beginning the first of the month following 3 months of continuous employment.

401(k) Retirement Savings Plan – Employees 21 years of age or older may participate in a 401(k) retirement plan beginning the first of the month after 3 months of continuous service. The plan offers a variety of investment options and is administered by Fidelity Investments. After completing one year of continuous service, employees are further eligible for company-matching funds of up to 3% of annual compensation plus additional contributions at the discretion of management.

Flexible Spending (Section 125 Plan) Accounts – You may elect to deduct pre-tax money from your payroll for dependent and medical care expenses not already covered by insurance, including insurance premium amounts.

Personal Time Off (PTO) – Paid time is available for vacation, illness and other personal reasons. Full time employees begin accruing time according to the schedule provided in the employee handbook, which is based on length of service with the company. Hourly eligible employees may use time in one hour increments, and up to 40 hours of PTO may be carried over into the next accrual year.

Holidays – Gremada Industries provides 9 paid holidays to full-time employees immediately after employment.

Tuition Reimbursement – Gremada Industries provides tuition reimbursement to employees that have been with the company for a minimum of six months for the cost of non-graduate courses not to exceed $4,000 per year and the cost of graduate courses not to exceed $8,000 per year.
